Why is it that I feel so alone when I'm constantly surrounded by people? I think... well, probably because the reason I moved 3,000 miles away is sleeping constantly and working. It gets really really hard. Blah. Ever regret major decisions? Like.. I don't know where I'd be if I weren't here... but I know I'd still have my beautiful daughter, and perhaps a little -less- depression because I wouldn't be waiting on 10 minutes of face time from a guy I love every day. And maybe a tranny...

Went to a Collective Soul concert!

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't remember what they were, I assume they were to be healthier, which I have greatly accomplished.

3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
Watching LotR!

My mom

5. What countries did you visit?
Physically, just my home country, mentally, EVERYWHERE

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
More energy, happiness, and a lust for life.

October 21st, because that was the day my mom passed.

MY ASSOCIATE OF ARTS OREGON TRANSFER!

Math... but I totally made up for that.

I got sick for a few days, and I've been battling depression nearly all year.

Gas money because I traveled to a lot of places, i.e. Prineville, Seattle and just into town A LOT.

Talked to my mother.

Drove home from Montana aaaand... went on a spur of the moment trip to the coast, as well as ate at ihop. Pretty mellow. ^_^

My sister.

My mom. A lot more than I thought I would.

Hold on to those you love the very most, and make sure that you talk to them as much as you can, take their advice, and don't ever give up hope.

EVERYTHING. New school, perhaps a new place to live, health insurance, a better body, a better mind, my sister's eye surgery. EVERYTHING

So... just a quick update, as I haven't done one in awhile. My mother passed away on October 21st, and it's been kinda hard. But things are getting better.
I'm not into a whole huge long post, so I'll just point the awesomes:
I'm getting my AAOT within a few weeks, so I get to transfer to the university... I have been waiting for this moment for.. 4 1/2 years. I'm excited. XD
My sister is FINALLY getting eye surgery... more on that in a moment.
Chris got a promotion of sorts at work. We may eventually get to move out.
For being what it has been... life has been really good. We've been through some really shitty stuff, but you know what? No matter how hard it is, it ALWAYS gets better.

So, for my sister's eye surgery, if you would like to help (which would be much appreciated... she paid for her left eye already, but the rest of her money had to go to school so that she could get back in... if you wanna talk about a shitty year, here, meet my sister... she was my mom's caretaker, lived through the worst of everything, but she has prevailed... so this is her reward for being such an awesome person to everyone else while she survived a VERY hard and emotional time... EYESIGHT!) please go here:

You can either put stuff up to auction off, or you can, you know... buy. There is a lot of good stuff, and believe me, it goes to an amazing cause. She is a beautiful person, and it would be wonderful for her to see the beauty of the world. She has been waiting twenty-five years to see. I think it's about time.

for the first half of the year i've been thinking that six months is such a looooong gruuueeeliiiiing time. now i don't want those six months to be up.
my mom, who has been battling ovarian cancer for three years found out on friday that she has about six months to live. i was in shock at first, and majorly depressed... i'm starting to find now, though, that i am beginning to recall memories of her more clearly. before she was sick. before she even became addicted to pills.
i remember when i was very young and i had a panic attack, and she held me while i tried to explain to her what was going on. she didn't question, just held me.
i remember her buying me our Verve cd, and how excited we were.
i remember when we were in lebanon and she drove us all the way to the coast for just a half hour of playing in the cold sand.
she told me the other day about how when she was young she would go to sockhops and skate around listening to abba. now i want to listen to dancing queen all the time and think of her.
i know that she has sort of slipped through the cracks in these past eight years... but she's been responsible. i wish i could take back every bad thing i've ever said about or to her. she has been the best mother i could have wanted, and she has helped to make me who i am today.
here's to my mom, who went through more in her 45 years than most will have to suffer in ten lifetimes. but she did it proudly, and even now, at the end, she is still coherent. she refuses to go quietly.
as she said, my mom is going out with a bang.

I love you Mom.

I missed the inauguration. :[ I totally thought it'd be tonight. Not at 8:30 in the freaking morning. :[ sad day

I'm going to stay home from school today. First I'm going to finish my math, all mathxl like, then I'm going to read my psychology. Then I'm going to go upstairs and watch a movie. yep yep yep.

after that, all bets are off.

I'm staying home because I'm still sick and I have to work everyday this week that I'm not at school, and I figure if I just keep going and going and going without slowing down, then I'm going to remain sick, and having a constant feeling of passing out at work is not fun.

today i just feel like writing a whole bunch. I don't know why. I'm even thinking of starting a new story. Maybe a fanfic? Maybe one for Chris that he can kinda read then I'll slip in pictures of naked Ellie/Claire and he'll be like "this story is AWESOME!" and then I'll be like "I'M THE GREATEST WRITER EVERRRRR"

But I do want to write.

Chris and I are getting our ring tattoos today. So now he can wear his wedding ring all the time, like at work when he has to take his band off, so it doesn't break, he can still "wear" the tattoo.

My tattoo feels like a sunburn, probably because I slept on it all night. Chris wants to get one on his wrist, and Jesse is gonna get one. I think Sarina should get one. :]

Tomorrow I get to find out if I can request that Friday/Saturday off for Ok Go. I invited dad to go, and he said "we'll see" which usually means yes in his book. So that'll be cool. I feel all guilty about the Oasis concert. >.>
I'm excited for Ok Go though. :]

I'm going to go finish my cereal and coffee and peruse the interwebs.
